Sylvia Antiques is proud to be celebrating our 95th year in business. When Frank Sylvia set up shop on Nantucket in 1927, I am sure he wasn't thinking that his grandson would still be in the business of buying and selling antiques almost 100 years later. Over the years, Sylvia Antiques bought and sold thousands of items and established life-long relationships. These relationships are what keeps a smile on my face.

Sylvia Antiques is known for having the largest collection of Nantucket related items on island, including the famous Nantucket lightship baskets. We also deal in a good amount of folk art, americana, nautical and decorative art.

Our extensive collection of lightship baskets, folk art, paintings, and furniture, showcase our commitment to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Nantucket. Each item in our collection tells a unique story, and we are dedicated to sharing these stories with our customers.

We offer a variety of services including restoration, appraisals, and basket repair. In addition to our services, we also offer a unique shopping experience. Our two locations, 15 Main Street and 12 Straight Wharf, provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for customers to browse our extensive collection.
