Illinois Wildlife Connections is located in the heart of South-Central Illinois and we currently manage over 5,000 acres for Archery Only Whitetail Deer Hunts, Limited Muzzleloader and Shotgun Deer Hunts, and Eastern Wild Turkey Hunts in Illinois. Services Offered

We offer a range of services including Archery Only Whitetail Deer Hunts, Limited Muzzleloader and Shotgun Deer Hunts, and Eastern Wild Turkey Hunts. Our expert team ensures that every hunter has the best opportunity to catch a Trophy Illinois Whitetail Deer or a Trophy Eastern Turkey. Our services also include comfortable accommodations and excellent meals at an affordable price.

Hunting Areas

Our hunting areas cover over 5,000 acres, combining corn, soybean, wheat, clover, and CRP fields with brushy creek bottoms and hardwood hills. We have a 90% archery-only policy, with the option for shotgun or muzzleloader hunts on certain farms. Each hunter is given several farms or areas to hunt during their trip.

Harvest Opportunities

Our opportunity rate for the past 16 years on a 125-inch buck or better at 40 yards or less is 80%. We live and work the habitat year-round so we know the patterns and habits of the deer. Each hunter is allowed to take 1 buck, and we ask that the buck be at least 125 inches or better and be a mature buck.

Food Plots

We plant plots of corn, soybeans, and biologic mixes on all accessible farms to attract and hold deer throughout the season. These plots are strategically placed to ensure maximum deer activity.

Deer Stands

All farms have several stands in place, ready to hunt depending on the phase of the rut, time of day, and wind direction. Hunters are allowed to bring a climber to be more versatile. We will have additional stands ready to hang throughout the hunt if needed.

Electric Carts

We provide Electric Carts to transport hunters to and from treestands, eliminating human scent going to and from treestands.
