G2G Salsa

At G2G Salsa, our mission is to promote and expand the Latin influence in the surrounding areas. Founded by Jesse Ramos in 2009 in Destin, FL, and relocated to Chattanooga, TN in 2014, our passion is to share the joy of salsa and bachata dancing with the community. With a deep understanding of the importance of cultural exchange and sharing, we aim to create a warm and welcoming environment for dancers of all levels, from beginners to advanced.

Our Services

At G2G Salsa, we offer a range of services to cater to the diverse needs of our students. Our group courses are designed to be progressive, allowing students to learn new material each class while reviewing and building upon previously learned concepts. Our expert instructors are dedicated to providing personalized attention to each student, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their skills.

Private Lessons

For those who prefer one-on-one instruction, we offer private lessons tailored to individual needs and goals. Our instructors will work closely with students to develop a customized plan, addressing areas such as technique, style, and performance.

Socials and Events

We believe that social dancing is an essential part of the learning process. Our regular social events provide an opportunity for students to practice their skills in a fun and relaxed environment. These events also offer a chance to meet new people and make lasting connections within the dance community.

• Beginner II Bachata: This course is designed for students who have already completed Beginner I Bachata. The course outline includes:

• Incorporating body movement & styling
• Shines & footwork
• More intricate turn patterns

• Beginner II Salsa: This course is designed for students who have already completed Beginner I Salsa. The course outline includes:

• Incorporating body movement & styling
• Learning double turns
• Shines & footwork
• More intricate turn patterns

• Intermediate Bachata: This class is for students who already have a strong foundation in bachata and would like to improve technique and knowledge for styling, body movement, and partner work. The course outline includes:

• Executing multiple spins
• Body isolations and musicality
• Complex shines, footwork, and styling
• More advanced turn patterns

• Intermediate Salsa: This class is for students who already have a strong foundation in salsa and would like to improve technique and knowledge for styling, spinning, and partner work. The course outline includes:

• Double & triple turns
• Body movement & isolations
• Complex shines and ladies styling
• More advanced turn patterns

• Rueda DE Casino: This style of salsa dancing originated in Havana, Cuba in the 1950s. Pairs of dancers form a circle, with dance moves called out by one person, a caller. The course outline includes:

• Dame Dame dos

• Enchufla doble
• Adios
• Adios con la hermana
