The Northgate Group is truly a family company. We live, work, and play together. For our clients, this means a seamless team working on their new restaurant, hotel, historic home, or dynamic office space. Our Story

Originally, The Northgate Group, was a weekend warrior. In 2003 we took on our first project; a 1940's house on Northgate Street in Durham that my grandparents had lovingly called home since they were married. Our low budget provided for two workers; my husband and myself. Fortunately, our family was willing to share their expertise, and we were able to talk friends with know-how into spending a day working with us for a free lunch. After this first renovation we decided to form The Northgate Group, LLC. named in honor of the home where my grandparents lived their lives. We have grown into a company of 12 full time team members and together have gone on to completely restore historic homes, revive old shopping centers, upfit restaurants, create and recreate commercial spaces as well as ground up construction of homes, recreation centers, offices.

The electrical team at The Northgate Group, LLC has over 70 years of combined experience. Our team of highly skilled electricians will cater services to our clients' needs with a focus on safety and quality.

Roofing Services

As an expert roofing general contractor, The Northgate Group inspects, advises, repairs and replaces all types of roofs.
