Meet Tara Thompson

As the founder of Tara's Birth Services, I am Tara Thompson, a passionate advocate for women's health and childbirth education. I believe that pregnancy and childbirth are unique experiences that every woman should cherish and have control over. My journey started when I was just 16 years old, sitting on my front steps with my neighbor, who shared her experience with an epidural during childbirth. This moment sparked my interest in exploring the world of pregnancy and childbirth, and I decided to dedicate my life to helping others achieve the birth they desire.

With over 20 years of experience in the field, I have become a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Evidence-Based Birth Instructor, Cappa Certified Doula, and a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in prenatal, postpartum, and infant massage. I also recently became certified in lymphatic drainage massage. My extensive training and experience enable me to provide comprehensive support and services to expecting mothers in Roswell, Kennesaw, Woodstock/Holly Springs, Acworth/Dallas, and other areas North of Atlanta.

Pregnancy Massage

Childbirth Education

Our classes cover topics such as the stages of labor, pain management options, and postpartum care. We offer small group classes, private lessons, and a hybrid model for those who prefer a mix of in-person and virtual learning.

Doula Services

As a certified doula, I provide emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. My services include prenatal consultations, labor support, and postpartum care. I can help you navigate the challenges of childbirth and ensure that your needs are met throughout the process.

Postpartum Tuck-In

Our postpartum tuck-in service is designed to support new mothers during the initial weeks after giving birth. This service includes postpartum massage, breastfeeding support, and emotional care to help you recover and bond with your new baby.
