At Greis Trucking and Excavating, Inc., we have been in the business of trucking and excavating for over 75 years. Our family-owned business has been dedicated to providing top-notch services to our clients, and we take pride in our ability to adapt and evolve to meet the changing needs of our customers.

Our journey began in 1945, when Marvin Louis Greis started the dirt business with a backhoe and a dump truck. He was known for hauling rock and digging basements in the growing town of Boonville. Marvin also managed a trucking business, where he would haul for the local bakery, other businesses, and materials for surrounding highway projects.

Over the years, the business grew, and in 1965, Marvin Lee, Marvin's only son, took over the business with his wife, Patricia. They expanded the business, adding more equipment and services. Today, we are in our fourth generation, with Marvin Lee, his sons Mark and Clark, daughter Denise, and grandson Jacob still running the business with the same old-fashioned values of a handshake and hard work.

Our services include dump truck and lowboy flats, rock and dirt hauling, equipment hauling, demolition hauling, excavation, water and sewer lines, ponds and lakes, site work, land clearing, railroad maintenance, ditching, brush cutting, switch installation, tie replacement, pipe installation, undercutting, grapple and rotary truck services, crossing work, and emergency repairs. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of service and ensuring that our clients are completely satisfied with the work we do.

We have completed numerous projects for the railroad across the country, including replacing a Kansas/Missouri train bridge in less than 12 hours, setting new electronic switches in several states, and replacing ties and ballast with local maintenance crews in Missouri.
