At Red Piano Music Studio, we are a team of passionate and caring music educators dedicated to providing exceptional music education to students of all ages and skill levels. Our story began when our founder, a music education student at Oakland University, started teaching music lessons to local children in their hometown of Rochester Hills. As the studio grew, so did our mission to offer innovative, creative, and exceptional music education to every student.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of music classes and programs for students of all ages, from newborns to adults. Our experienced instructors provide private lessons in piano, voice, drums, guitar, ukulele, violin, and other band and orchestra instruments. We also offer group classes for young children, including "Baby Beats" for 4-36 months, "Toddler Tunes" for 18-36 months, and "Music Explorers" for 3-5 years.
Group Classes
- Baby Beats: For ages 4-36 months, this class is designed to engage babies in playful melodies, gentle movements, and rhythmic exploration, fostering early cognitive development and parent-child bonding through the universal language of music.
- Toddler Tunes: For ages 18-36 months, this dynamic class encourages toddlers to explore music through lively dancing, interactive instrument play, and rhythm movement activities.
- Music Explorers: For ages 3-5 years, this interactive class introduces kids to the piano, ukulele, drums, and more, fostering exploration and discovery.
- Family Ukulele Jam: For ages 6-12 + a grown-up, this class teaches the basics of ukulele playing, including chords and strumming techniques, and singing while playing.
- Singing Stars: For ages 6-12, this group class teaches vocal technique, breath control, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Private Lessons
We offer private lessons in piano, voice, drums, guitar, ukulele, violin, and other band and orchestra instruments for students of all ages and skill levels. Our experienced instructors provide personalized instruction and guidance to help students achieve their musical goals.
Our Locations
We have two locations in Oakland County: one at the corner of Avon and John R in Rochester Hills, and one downtown Oxford. Each location has multiple private teaching rooms, a large group classroom, and a large lobby with a complimentary coffee bar for parents and siblings to wait in.
