In-House Powder Coating

Our powder coating process is a completely dry finishing process used on a wide range of materials and products. Finely ground particles of pigment and resin are electro-statically charged and sprayed on to products to be coated. The parts are electrically ground so the charged particles adhere to them until melted and fused into a solid coating in an oven. This process is environmentally friendly and virtually pollution-free.

In-House Sandblasting

Our sandblasting service not only removes surface contaminates, like old paint and rust, but also gives the metal a fine texture that allows the powder coating to adhere to the metal for even better strength. If you have your parts sand blasted before sending them to us, please clean any oil and grease off before blasting. This will produce the best finish as oil and grease can be pushed into the surface and cause adhesion problems.

Pretreatment

We use a 5 stage pretreatment system to ensure superior pretreatment for powder coating new materials. The 5 stage system provides superior pretreatment for powder coating final quality, appearance, and performance. This includes cleaning, rinsing, phosphate treatment, rinsing again, and a final seal rinse against rust.

Thermoplastics

Thermoplastic are a great option for many projects. Their chemical properties allow them to soften when they are heated and harden when they are cooled. Thermoplastic can be moulded into almost any shape and are thicker than many other coating options.

Color Charts

We also offer a variety of color charts from Tiger Coatings, Cardinal Paint, and Prismatic Coatings. These charts provide a wide range of colors and finishes to choose from, ensuring that you can find the perfect match for your project.

Projects and Community Involvement

We're proud to be a Snohomish County business and have been featured in the "City of Snohomish Quarterly" magazine. We've also been on the Wicked Focus Racing Podcast discussing our processes, projects, and services. One of our recent projects included a forged metal project for Whitesavage and Lyle in Whidbey Island.
