Bergan Central Catholic High School

Bergan Catholic School, a Mission of St. Patrick's Parish, is a parochial, college preparatory school for young people in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Established in 1913, Bergan Catholic School is a beacon of faith-based education, nestled in the heart of Fremont, Nebraska. Our school is a proud member of the Archdiocese of Omaha and the National Catholic Education Association, and is accredited by the AdvancED Accreditation Organization.

Our mission is to educate students in a faith-filled environment that promotes academic excellence, personal development, and social responsibility. We are committed to recognizing the individual learning styles and abilities of each student, and we strive to provide a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in college and beyond.

Staff Directory

Our staff is made up of highly qualified and experienced educators who are dedicated to their students' success. Over 40% of our teaching faculty have a Master's Degree or higher, and we have a 100% graduation rate for the last 10 years. We welcome families and students of any faith, and over 35% of our student body comes from faiths other than Catholic.

Academics

Bergan Catholic School offers a rigorous academic program that prepares students for success in college and beyond. Our elementary school serves students Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade, and we have a student to teacher ratio of 13:1. We believe that every student is unique and capable of greatness, and we strive to provide a quality education that won't break the bank. Our tuition is comparable with Nebraska rural Catholic Schools, making a faith-based education accessible to all.

Our academic program is driven by our mission to provide faith, academics, and discipline. We teach the biggest subjects, and we are proud to offer a wide range of courses in art, science, social science, computers, theology, world language, language arts, mathematics, music, and physical education. We also offer advanced courses in computer applications, and a school to career cooperative program that provides students with real-world work experience.

Early Childhood Education Center

The Early Childhood Education Center provides loving, faith-based childcare for students ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our Little Knights Preschool program provides a nurturing environment where young students can learn and grow, while our Summer Care program offers a fun and engaging experience for students during the summer months. Our ECEC is an integral part of our school community, and we are committed to providing the best possible care for our students.

Extracurriculars

Bergan Catholic School offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities and athletics for students of all ages. From art and music to sports and clubs, we have something for everyone. Our students have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities that allow them to explore their interests, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships.
