In 1947, M.L. Hunt and his sons, Jack and Kelly, established Hunt Sales Company in El Paso, Texas. From its humble beginnings as a family-run retail lumber and hardware business, Hunt has evolved into a diversified, family-owned holding company with a national footprint.
