At Speedway Properties, we are a locally-owned commercial real estate investment company based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our family-owned and operated business has a rich history dating back to 1961. We own, develop, manage, and lease over 5,000,000 square feet of retail, office, and industrial properties throughout Lincoln. Our Company History

Speedway Properties was established in 1961 by our founders, Clay and Craig Smith. Our company has a long history of redeveloping older buildings and has earned numerous awards and public recognition for our projects, which have had a positive impact on the community. We have developed retail shopping centers, strip retail, and flex space to meet market demand in different areas of Lincoln. Additionally, we have negotiated sale-leaseback transactions, build-to-suit lease agreements, and land leases with numerous tenant partners.
