Robbins Garden Center

Robbins Garden Center and Stove Shop is a family-owned business that has been serving the Oxford community for over 85 years. The Robbins family's business journey started in 1937 with a local gas station and repair shop, which evolved into a bus company, construction company, road building company, and a house moving company. The family's businesses included Robbins Sand and Gravel, a fully functional sand and gravel pit, and greenhouses that sold flowers and provided animal feed to local farms. The Robbins Garden Center was established in the early 1980s, and today, it is common to see four generations of Robbins' working in the store and greenhouses.

Robbins Garden Center and Stove Shop recognized the need for alternate heating sources during the oil price hike in the early 1990s. They invested in wood, wood pellets, corn, bio products, and coal to help the community's heating budgets. Soon after, Robbins Stove Shop was born, featuring a full showroom of Alternate Fuel Heating Stoves. The Robbins staff were trained and certified to recommend, install, and repair the stoves, making them the largest dealer in New England. Today, Robbins Garden Center and Stove Shop offers a wide variety of heating products and services.

Garden Center

Robbins Garden Center provides all the necessities for local farms, landscapers, and homeowners, offering an extensive range of annuals, perennials, shrubs, sod, insecticides and fertilizers, garden supplies, and yard ornaments. Their one-stop supply house also helps you feed the birds, wild animals, or your own chickens and horses. From their beginnings as a Sand and Gravel Pit, Robbins has grown to offer various New England Mulches, available in truckload or bag quantities.

Stove Shop

Robbins Stove Shop offers and installs various pellet, coal, and corn stoves. They carry over 20 wood pellet brands and nearly 25 brands of pellet, coal, and corn stoves. In the early days, the Robbins family hand-delivered wood pellets in their pickup truck. Now, Robbins has a full fleet of delivery van trucks, 6- and 10-wheel dump trucks, flatbed trucks and trailers, and dump trailers. They take pride in providing excellent customer service, ensuring prompt delivery of heating products.

Robbins Garden Center offers an extensive selection of seasonal favorites. In the spring, they have annuals and vegetables, while summers boast shrubs and trees. They provide all the necessary supplies to make your yard something you can be proud of.
