Our History

Founded in 2001, Sumlar Therapy Services, Inc. has established itself as a trusted and reputable pediatric therapy clinic in Alabama. Our clinic is based in Ozark, AL, and we serve children and families across the state. Over the years, we have built meaningful partnerships with educators, pediatricians, and parents, and we are proud to serve military families stationed at Fort Novosel, formerly known as Fort Rucker.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of pediatric therapy services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Our therapy programs are tailored to each child's specific needs, and we use innovative and effective therapy techniques, such as hippotherapy, aquatic therapy, and feeding therapy, to help children achieve success in their everyday life. We also provide school-based pediatric therapy services, partnering with many school districts in Alabama to provide therapy services as part of a child's special education services.

Our 4,000 sq. ft. clinic is designed with children in mind, featuring a pool for aquatic therapy and an outdoor riding arena with horses for hippotherapy. Our team of experienced and dedicated therapists is committed to providing exceptional pediatric therapy services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
