Furnishing Hope-Massachusetts

Furnishing Hope of Massachusetts, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is dedicated to helping Boston area families create a home for themselves as they transition from homeless and domestic violence shelters into stable housing. Our mission is to provide families with the furniture, household goods, moving, and set-up services necessary to create a comfortable and nurturing environment from which to make a new start.

Our Services

We provide families with the basic necessities to start a new life, including furniture, home goods, and moving and set-up services. Our "Starter Sets" include bedding, kitchen, bath, and toiletries. Additionally, we offer lamps, curtains, and more to ensure that each family has what they need to build a comfortable home.

How We Make a Difference

We believe that helping families create a home for themselves gives families a much better start as they work to rebuild their lives. Our efforts are focused on providing a foundation for families to build upon, helping them to feel safe and comfortable in their new environment. We work closely with over 28 Boston area agencies to identify families in need and provide them with the support they require to start anew.

How You Can Help

There are several ways to contribute to our cause. You can donate new and gently used home goods and furniture, provide financial support, or volunteer your time. Every contribution, big or small, helps us make a significant difference in the lives of families in need.

Our Impact

Since our inception, we have provided over 645 Boston area families with the necessities to build a home. Our work has not only helped families get off the streets but also given them a chance to start over and build a brighter future.
