Winthrop Steel Company, a family-owned and operated business, has been a staple in the Fitchburg, MA community since its inception in the 1930s. Originally established by Harris Winthrop, the scrap metal yard has been passed down through the generations and is now owned and operated by Peter Schuren and his brother John Schuren. We have officially mastered the core of the metal industry and pay our clients prime dollar for all of their metal and recyclable pieces. We then repurpose tons of product, taking a strain off of the environment.
