Our Story
Peni, our founder, opened Pet Stylista in Oak Park in November 2013. With a background in Design from UC Davis and a 23-year career as an interior designer, Peni brought her artistic expertise to the world of pet grooming. Professionally trained at the NY School of Dog Grooming in Manhattan, New York, Peni started her grooming career on the Upper East Side before returning to her hometown of Sacramento. Peni and Pet Stylista support many local pet rescues and charities, reflecting her long-time dedication to animal welfare.

Our dedicated team of groomers, bathers, and staff are passionate about providing exceptional care and attention to our furry clients. From Cynthia, our talented groomer who discovered her love for grooming after reading dog breed books as a child, to Jordan, our newest groomer who interned in the Cat Fostering Program at Front Street Shelter, our team is dedicated to making your pet feel relaxed and pampered.
