At Elation Surf Camps, we're passionate about sharing the thrill of surfing with people of all ages and skill levels. Located at the 30th Street Surfing Beach in Avalon, New Jersey, our team of experienced instructors has been operating safely since 2008. We take pride in providing our students with a fun and safe environment to learn the fundamentals of surfing, ocean safety, and surf etiquette.

Our Mission

Our goal is to give aspiring surfers the opportunity to experience the thrill of surfing in the safest environment possible. We strive to provide each surfer with the guidance, support, and equipment they need to succeed, including use of a surfboard, wetsuit, and instruction. Our experienced instructors have a deep understanding of the ocean and the fundamentals of surfing, and they're dedicated to helping our students ride their first wave.

Summer Surf Camps

Our Summer Surf Camps are a highlight of the season, offering weekly camps from mid-June to the end of August. Our 3-day camp runs Tuesday through Thursday, and our 5-day camp runs Monday through Friday, both from 10AM-12PM each day. With limited spots available, it's essential to sign up early to secure your spot. We also offer private and group surfing lessons for those who prefer one-on-one instruction or small groups.

What to Expect

At Elation Surf Camps, we're committed to providing a top-notch surfing experience. Our camps are part of the Avalon Recreation Department and are fully licensed and insured. Our instructors are experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated to helping our students succeed. We'll teach you everything you need to know, from ocean safety and surf etiquette to stretching and surf-specific exercises. And, of course, we'll help you ride your first wave!
