Our History and Values

For over 63 years, C&D Drug Store has been a staple in the Russellville community. Founded in 1958 by Pharmacists Charles Oates and Dale Walker, our mission has always been to prioritize courtesy and service. Our store has a rich history, dating back to 1877, when it first opened its doors as a drugstore. In 1984, we underwent a major renovation and expanded into the area that formerly housed Carpenter's Jewelry. In 2004, we introduced a pharmaceutical compounding area, making us one of the few compounding pharmacies in the area. Our commitment to excellence has earned us numerous recognitions, including the local "Best of the Best Pharmacist" award and the "Best of the Best Pharmacy" award through community votes.

Our Services

At C&D Drug Store, we offer a wide range of services to cater to your unique needs. Our team of four full-time pharmacists, Yanci Walker, Pharm. D., Katie Coulter, Pharm. D., Will Walker, Pharm. D., and R.D. Walker, R.Ph., is dedicated to providing personalized care and attention to each of our customers. Our services include:

• Free in-town delivery and curbside pickup
• Advanced technological services such as text/email alerts, online refills, and easy transfers
• Custom compounding solutions for a variety of conditions, including allergy treatment and pain management
• Vaccines, including Shingles, Pneumonia, Flu, Covid, RSV, and Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis
• Medication flavoring to make taking medication more enjoyable

Compounding Services

Our compounding services allow us to create customized treatments for our patients. We can create dosage strengths to meet individual needs, make available commercially unavailable products, and provide alternative dosage forms to make medication more palatable. From lollipops to suppositories, we can create a solution to almost any dosing problem. We also offer medication flavoring to make taking medication more enjoyable.

Veterinary Compounding

We also offer compounding services for our furry friends! Our veterinary compounding services include bioidentical hormones for men and women, as well as solutions for hospice care, pediatrics, and podiatry.
