Our Story

Located in Flagstaff, AZ, we've been proudly serving the communities of Flagstaff, Sedona, Page, Kingman, and Verde Valley since 2009. Our pharmacy staff is comprised of experts in compounding, with a strong passion for providing healthcare services that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. We believe that being a local independent pharmacy means being an integral part of the community, and we're committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Our Services

At Mortar & Pestle, we offer a wide range of services designed to promote overall health and wellness. Our compounding specialists work closely with patients and healthcare providers to create customized medications that address specific needs, including pain management, hormone therapy, dermatology, pediatrics, and more. Our wellness classes focus on empowering individuals to take control of their health, with programs and workshops on diabetes, quit smoking, weight loss, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and asthma management. We also offer a convenient mobile app, allowing patients to refill prescriptions, set medication reminders, and access their profiles on-the-go.

Meet Our Team

Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to providing exceptional patient care. Meet Kelsey Epstein, PharmD, our owner and lead pharmacist, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in compounding and hormone therapy. Lauren Driebe, R.Ph., our founder, continues to work part-time, sharing her extensive knowledge of hormones and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Ken Herron, CPhT, and Jon Gleeman, PharmD, round out our team, bringing decades of combined experience in pharmacy and compounding.
