Civano Vacation Rentals is a small business owned by Shelly Carlson and her husband Andy Slater. The couple has beautiful properties to rent in Civano, a neighborhood of southeast Tucson, Arizona. Civano is an artistic, eco-friendly neighborhood located in the southeast of Tucson, Arizona. The neighborhood was planned to focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and community. It integrates homes, shops, workplaces, schools, and civic facilities to meet all the needs of residents. The neighborhood includes parks, natural desert walking paths, pools, tennis courts, and even a community garden.

The Perfect Location

Civano is perfectly located to act as a home base during your visit to Arizona. It's connected to The Loop, a dedicated network of 200 miles of bicycle pathways that go throughout the city. It's also just 12 miles away from Saguaro National Park and an hour away from Biosphere 2. There are artists' communities nearby, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is a 10-minute drive. Other local attractions include the Pima Air Museum and the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil show that takes place every February at the Tucson Convention Center.

• Wayne Moody Home: This single-story 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is rich in southwest architecture, featuring 18-inch ceiling Viga beams, a custom beehive fireplace, and stained concrete floors.
• Creosote Ridge Way Home: This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is located on the largest lot in Civano, featuring a cook's kitchen, upgraded stainless steel appliances, and a gas range.
• Cerulean Way Home: This three-bedroom, two-bathroom bath home is located in the heart of Civano, offering a peaceful retreat for a relaxing visit.

About Andy & Shelly

Shelly Carlson and Andy Slater have lived in Arizona for more than 20 years. They raised two children in Phoenix and both attended Arizona State University. In 2009, they moved to Civano to enjoy a quieter lifestyle. Andy is an engineer for a local firm, and Shelly works from home for a fresh potato grower and shipper. They love hosting guests from all over the world and are passionate about sharing their Civano experience with others.

Premier Partners

Andy & Shelly are VRBO Premier Partners for 2019. They have great reviews and never cancel bookings. They manage their own properties and are very hands-on. Next year, they will begin offering themed retreats. Stay tuned for details.
