At Butterfly Aviation, we are proud to be a second and third-generation, family-owned and operated business that has been serving the aviation community since 1972. Based in Goodland, Kansas, we offer a wide range of services to aviators and aircraft owners, including FBO services, maintenance, and flight instruction.

Full-Service FBO

As a full-service FBO, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service and convenience. We offer Phillips 66 branded fuel, including P66 Into-Plane contract fueling, as well as maintenance, courtesy cars, heated hangar space, pilot supplies, and a cafe on the field. Our manned hours are from 7am-7pm during Mountain Daylight Savings Time, and 7am-6pm during Mountain Standard Time, and we have staff available to assist you 24/7.

Aircraft Maintenance

Our maintenance shop is equipped to handle a wide variety of small aircraft, including sprayers and the classic Cessna 195. Whether you need routine maintenance or major repairs, our team of experienced mechanics is here to help. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance solutions.

Flight Instruction and Aircraft Rental

At Butterfly Aviation, we offer flight instruction for pilots of all skill levels. We have a 1980 Cessna 172 Skyhawk with a redesigned interior and a Garmin 430W that we use for instruction. Our instructors are available for both wet and dry aircraft rentals.

Additional Services

In addition to our core services, we also offer a variety of additional services to make your experience with us as smooth and enjoyable as possible. These services include:

• After-hours fueling: If you plan on flying through after regular business hours, we offer after-hour fueling. Just give us a call ahead of time and let us know your approximate arrival time.
• Nearby hotels: We have relationships with several local hotels and can help you make arrangements for your stay. Simply give us a call and we'll be happy to assist you.
