Our team is comprised of compassionate professionals who understand the importance of each life we are celebrating. We strive to create a special bond with each family, a bond that extends long after the funeral service. "When Caring Counts" is our motto, reflecting our dedication to personalized service.

Our Story

Memorial Funeral Home was founded by Mr. William "Shorty" Kilgore and Mr. Howard White in 1961. After Shorty's passing in 1968, his wife, Mrs. Frances Brandon Kilgore, continued the business, eventually handing it over to her children. In 1998, Stacey Parker and his wife, Melinda Dendy Parker, acquired the business, ensuring that the legacy of compassionate service continued for three generations. Today, we remain committed to honoring the memories of those we serve.

Our Locations

We have two locations: 334 East Madison St. and 122 Starkville Rd. in Houston, Mississippi. Both locations are designed to provide a comfortable and respectful environment for families to gather and celebrate the lives of their loved ones.
