Our park is situated in the heart of Wallowa Lake Village, within walking distance to all attractions. We provide a perfect vacation getaway for those who love the great outdoors and want to experience the best of Wallowa Lake.

Our Services

At Park at the River, we offer a range of services to make your stay with us comfortable and enjoyable. Our RV park features 49 full-hookup sites, including 30 and 50-Amp sites, with all the amenities you need for a perfect vacation. We also have two cabins, the Cabin in the Park and the Cabin at the River, which are perfect for those who want to experience the comfort of a home away from home. Our Riverside Suite is a studio cabin that boasts river views and is fully wheel-chair accessible.

River Sites

For those who want to experience the beauty of nature without sacrificing convenience, our River Sites are the perfect option. These sites boast some of the best views in the entire Wallowa Lake Village, with opportunities to watch osprey diving for kokanee, mergansers coming in to land, bald eagles cruising the canyon, and dippers competing with trout for insects. Our River Sites are boondocking only, meaning no hookups of any kind.

Cabin Accommodations

Our cabins are designed to provide comfort and relaxation. The Cabin in the Park is situated in the center of the park and can sleep up to 8 people in three bedrooms. The Cabin at the River is a studio cabin with river views, a gas fire pit, and is fully wheel-chair accessible. Our Riverside Suite is a studio cabin that is perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers who cherish privacy, space, and views.

Amenities

At Park at the River, we understand the importance of amenities. That's why we offer a range of amenities to make your stay with us enjoyable. Our park features men's and women's restrooms and showers, a laundromat, and special rates for groups. We also have a free shuttle that stops in front of our park, making it easy to explore the charming town of Joseph and its numerous art galleries and eclectic assortment of restaurants and shops.

Pet Policy

Please note that we will be changing our pet policy in 2025. Between Memorial and Labor Day weekends, during the months of June, July, and August, we will no longer allow pet dogs. Dogs will be allowed before and after these dates. We understand that this shift may come as an unwelcome surprise to many of you, especially those who have been coming here for years. The reasons for this change are many, and we hope you understand.
