Quality Learning, Supportive Community
Extended Child Care Coalition (ECC) is a dedicated provider of high-quality, year-round out-of-school-time learning programs for school-age children in Sonoma County. We understand the importance of supporting families and school districts, and we are committed to helping each child obtain essential life skills. Our organization has been providing before and after school programs since 1978, and we currently serve the Mark West Union and Wright Elementary School Districts. We take pride in our long-standing history of nurturing the growth and development of children in our community.
Our Services
At ECC, we offer a variety of services designed to meet the diverse needs of school-age children, families, and school districts. Our core services include:
1. *Before School Care*: We provide safe, engaging, and nurturing environments where children can start their day. Our before school care programs include a variety of activities that promote socialization, creativity, and learning readiness.
2. *After School Care*: Our after school care programs are designed to support academic success, enhance social and emotional development, and promote healthy lifestyles. We offer a balanced mixture of structured and unstructured activities, including homework assistance, arts and crafts, sports, games, and STEM projects.
3. *Full-Day Summer Learning Programs*: During summer break, we offer full-day learning programs that combine academic enrichment, recreational activities, and field trips. Our summer programs help children maintain and build upon the skills they have acquired during the school year, while also providing a fun and engaging environment for them to enjoy their vacation.
4. *Child Care Management Services*: ECC partners with school districts to provide on-site child care, serving families enrolled at the school and providing subsidized care for eligible families. Our team works closely with school administrators and teachers to ensure a seamless integration of our programs with the regular school day.
5. *Subsidized Care Information*: We are committed to making our services accessible to all families. We provide information and assistance in navigating the process of obtaining subsidized care for eligible families.
