Our History

Delaware Tire Centers was founded in 1968 by the late James W. Baxter, who built a successful business based on his commitment to his customers and his high standards of integrity. Today, his sons, James (Jay) Baxter Jr. and Matthew Baxter, carry on his tradition of providing outstanding service, guaranteed satisfaction, and a company-wide commitment to excellence. Over the years, we've expanded into three locations, and we're proud to be a family-owned and family-friendly business with a children's play area at each of our locations.

At Delaware Tire Centers, we offer a wide range of automotive services, including axle, CV joint, and driveshaft repair, belts and hoses, brake repair, climate control systems, electrical and electronic systems, engine diagnostics and performance, exhaust system repair, lube, oil, and filter changes, preventive maintenance, starting, charging, and batteries, steering and suspension systems, tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), tire services, transmission repair, wheel alignment, and wheel services. We also specialize in lift and leveling kits.
