Dove Canyon Music Lessons

Welcome to Dove Canyon Music Lessons, a private music studio dedicated to providing high-quality in-person and online music instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Our studio is led by Dr. Mary DiCamillo, a highly experienced and qualified music educator with over 30 years of teaching experience. Dr. DiCamillo is a Board Certified Music Therapist and Professional Educational Therapist, and she has a special talent for tailoring the music learning experience to each student's individual needs.

At Dove Canyon Music Lessons, we offer a wide range of services, including piano, voice, violin, and music theory lessons. Our curriculum is designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing us to serve students of all ages and abilities, from young children to senior adults, and from beginners to advanced players.

Private Lessons

We offer private lessons in piano, voice, violin, and music theory. Our piano lessons include the Music for Little Mozarts program for preschoolers, the Faber Piano program for elementary and older beginners, classical instruction for intermediate and advanced players, and a chord approach for recreational players and vocalists who want to learn to accompany themselves. Our violin lessons follow the Essential Elements Violin Curriculum, the ABRSM program, and the Suzuki Violin program, and we have extensive experience teaching violin to young children. We also offer opportunities for duet work for older students and piano accompaniment during lessons.

Our voice lessons focus on music theater vocal training, audition prep, acting in song, monologue coaching, preparation for OCSA and college auditions, and contemporary and pop singing styles. We believe that singing is a whole-body experience, and we work with our students to develop healthy vocal technique, confident stage presence, and effective acting skills.

Our music theory lessons are designed to meet the needs of students at all levels, from beginners to AP Music Theory class level. We also teach keyboard skills in conjunction with music theory instruction.

Group Lessons

In addition to private lessons, we offer group lessons in guitar, piano, and musical theater vocal. Our group lessons are a great way for students to learn and grow together, and they provide a supportive and fun environment for musical exploration and skill-building.

Special Events

We host several special events throughout the year, including recitals and workshops. Our recitals are a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their talents and accomplishments, and they provide a supportive and inspiring atmosphere for musical growth and development.
