We started our journey working in the shop at one of the longest-operating custom window and door companies in the Bay Area, where we developed a passion for creating meticulously crafted, beautiful wooden windows and doors. With our extensive experience and commitment to quality, we decided to take a leap of faith and start our own company.

Our Services

At Kinney Woodworks LLC, we specialize in the production of sash windows and doors. Our sash windows include single hung, double hung, single casement, French casement, awning, and hopper windows. We also offer fixed windows in various shapes and sizes. For our doors, we offer panel doors with or without glass.

Our sash windows are made up of one or more movable panels that form a frame to hold panes of glass. These windows are often found in old Georgian and Victorian homes, but they can add a touch of quality and craftsmanship to any location. For instance, a single hung window is made up of two sash windows stacked vertically with one fixed window and the other mobile. A double hung window, on the other hand, is made up of two sash windows stacked vertically with both being able to move independently. These windows use rope and pulley or springs to assist in the movement of the windows.

Our panel doors are made up of a frame that consists of stiles and rails. The stiles make up the vertical part of the frame while the rails are the horizontal portion. The panels rest between the stiles and rails. We can also add glass to the panel door to give it a more modern and elegant look.
