About Us

Somerset Welding & Steel is a well-established business with extensive experience in hydraulics, welding, and fabricating a variety of materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and high hard steels. The company's roots date back to 1958, and it began operations by building steel dump bodies for coal haulers and farmers, who were essential to the economy at that time.

Over the years, the company expanded its scope of services and offerings to encompass a wide assortment of transportation equipment, certified welding and fabrication services, becoming an esteemed partner to industries such as mines and quarries, power plants, oil and gas drilling operations, and general construction. We pride ourselves on our three facilities in Somerset, PA, which include over 342,000 square feet of workspace and employ more than 250 skilled and highly experienced professionals.
