Our Story

Here at George's, you're not just a customer, you're family! We have been proudly serving your favorites for over 30 years. Our fast and friendly service is well-known in the Dayton community, and we take great pride in the connections we have built with our customers over the years.

Our extensive menu features many house-made favorites, including our soups, Broaster chicken, and famous house-made meatloaf. We offer a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, and our full menu is served all day long. We are committed to using high-quality ingredients, and our dishes are prepared with care and attention to detail.

We are proud to have been named the Best Burger, Best Breakfast, and Best Family Restaurant in Dayton by Dayton Magazine. Our George's HALF-POUND Classic Cheeseburger is a customer favorite, made with fresh, never frozen ground beef and topped with your choice of cheese. We also offer a variety of specialty burgers, such as the Inside-Out Mushroom Swiss and the Western Burger.

A Northridge Staple

George's Family Restaurant has been a staple in the Northridge community since 1994. The restaurant has undergone several transformations, starting as Charburger in the 1950s, which was known for its car hop service and copper grill hood. The Dixie Family Inn and Farmer Jacks followed, with the latter being remembered for its salad bar, wishing well, and dance floor.

In 1994, George Dimitrouleas and his business partner, Chef Mike Giolekas, opened the doors to George's Family Restaurant. The restaurant has since changed ownership, with George selling the business to his son, Dino, and his significant other, Elesha, in 2003. In 2010, the menu was expanded to include Genuine Broaster Chicken, Broasted Fish, and Broasted Pork Chops.

In 2022, Steve Socrates and Samantha acquired the restaurant with a commitment to preserving the legacy and community connections that George's has built over the years.

Our Menu

In addition to our famous burgers and house-made specialties, our menu features a variety of American favorites, such as breakfast items, sandwiches, and dinner entrees. We offer several Greek specialties, such as gyros, and our Broaster Chicken is a customer favorite. We also offer a variety of sides, including fresh steak fries and house-made coleslaw.

We are proud to serve breakfast all day, and our All You Can Eat Broaster Fish Dinner is a popular Friday night special. We have something for everyone, and we are committed to providing a welcoming and friendly dining experience for all of our customers.

Nightly Specials

We offer nightly specials every day after 4pm, including discounts for our friends over 55 and an All You Can Eat Broaster Pollock special every Friday night. Our specials are a great way to try something new and take advantage of discounted prices.

Visit Us Today

We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 7am to 8pm, and Sundays from 7am to 3pm. We are closed on Mondays and on several holidays throughout the year. Our restaurant is located at 5216 N.
