At Wind Dancer Kennels, we are dedicated to providing top-notch care and attention to your furry friends. Established in 1996, our family-owned and operated kennel is located in rural Story County, Iowa. Our mission is to provide quality boarding at a reasonable price, and we strive to meet any special needs your pet may have. We accommodate dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and temperaments, ensuring that they receive the best care possible during their stay with us.
Our Facilities
Our kennel features large individual indoor/outdoor runs, heated kennel floors, central heat and air, and a spacious 2-acre fenced play area. We also offer supervised group play three times a day, and our experienced caregivers monitor the health and well-being of your pet. We understand that every dog is unique, and we tailor our care to meet their individual needs.
Meet Our Staff
Our team is led by Becky Zaworski, owner and operator of Wind Dancer Kennels. With years of experience in animal care, Becky is dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment for your pet. Derrel Hoy, Becky's husband, is our full-time volunteer and helps with daily operations. Our team also includes Nellie, our loyal and lovable 4-legged staff member, and Rayne, who joined us in 2012 and brings energy and enthusiasm to our team.

We also provide custom care tailored to your dog's specific needs, including medication administration and special dietary requirements. Our rates are competitive and inclusive, with discounts available for cash or check payments.
