At King's Gardens, we are a locally owned and operated garden center that has been serving the Lexington, Kentucky area for over 25 years. Our story began in 1993 when Steve King, along with his wife Joanne and their children, purchased the former Binford's Garden Center/Hillenmeyers in Danville, Kentucky, and renamed it Stonegate Gardens. After selling Stonegate Gardens in 2003, the King family opened King's Gardens in Lexington, Kentucky, where we have been providing exceptional service and top-quality products to our customers ever since.

We also offer tree installation services, where our friendly staff will help you select the perfect tree for your landscaping needs and install it for you.
Our Garden Shop
Our garden shop is a treasure trove of gardening delights, filled to the brim with everything you need to create a beautiful and functional outdoor space. From wind chimes and garden flags to gazing globes and garden statues, we have a vast selection of garden accents to choose from. Our knowledgeable staff is always happy to help you find the perfect item to complete your garden design.
Trees and Shrubs
We take great pride in our selection of handsome, healthy, and hearty trees and shrubs, sourced from some of the best growers in the industry. We offer a 3-year guarantee on trees and shrubs purchased at full price and planted by us, or 1-year guarantee if you plant it yourself. From shade and flowering trees to beautiful hydrangeas and crape myrtles, we have just what you need to make your landscape the best in town.
Annuals and Perennials
Our greenhouses are blooming with all the beautiful colors found in every season. Our selection of annuals and perennials is outstanding, with many sourced from local growers. Our knowledgeable staff is always happy to help you pick out the best plants for your garden and design the perfect mixed container for your deck or patio.
Edibles
We also offer an excellent assortment of small fruits, including apple, pear, cherry, and peach trees, berry bushes, herbs, vegetables, and seeds to start your own plants. Whether you're looking to grow more of your own food or simply want to try your hand at gardening, we have everything you need to get started.
