Our History

Southwest Eye Care's story began in Chaska in August 2005. Founded by Drs. Amy Freed, Chris Freed, and Chad Dockter, the practice quickly gained a reputation for its dedication to exceptional patient care. The doctors worked tirelessly to address the unique eye care needs of patients from all age groups, building strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

In 2007, Southwest Eye Care experienced significant growth and expansion. The practice added several new locations throughout the Southwest Metro, enabling us to better serve our growing patient base. We continued to invest in the latest eye care technologies, ensuring that our patients had access to the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options available.
