Our pharmacy was established in 2010 as Village Clinic & Pharmacy in Venice, Florida, and we relocated to Sarasota, FL in July 2013, where we changed our name to Gulf Gate Pharmacy. As a family-owned and operated compounding pharmacy, our mission is to provide the highest-quality compounded medications and exceptional service to our patients.

Our Expertise and Qualifications

Our owner and pharmacist, Michael Scher, has over 23 years of experience in clinical and retail pharmacy. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from St. Johns University and is certified in Medication Therapy Management. He is also a member of the Roger Bacon Scientific Honor Society and speaks fluent English, Russian, and conversational Polish.
