Our Services

At CPI Consulting, we go far beyond what a typical home inspection service performs in the way of indoor environmental investigation. We will inspect for a wide range of hazards based on the complaint or concern of our clients and, if necessary, perform the following tests: mold assessment, indoor air sampling, mold testing (air, surface, or bulk sampling), allergen testing and screening, moisture survey or full inspection, thermo-imaging (infrared camera) to identify wet or damp building materials, arsenic residue testing, and consulting on how to care for your home to reduce the risk of health effects. Our services also include grading and drainage assessments, odor surveys, and more.

Our Expertise

Our President and founder, Steven R. Canter, is a certified indoor environmentalist (CIE) and certified residential mold inspector (CRMI) with a background in construction since the early 1960s. He worked with his father and grandfather, building contractors, and other craftsmen in multiple building trades, learning diverse skill-sets that have been passed down through generations. This vast knowledge is leveraged in every detail of building construction in our home inspections and mold investigations.
