Our Story

Our journey began with a love for coffee and a passion for building community. Our founder, Travis Colbert, fell in love with coffee while traveling in the Southern Philippines, where he experienced the rich flavors and aromas of coffee picked from wild trees and pan-roasted over an open fire. This sparked a career in coffee roasting and serving, which led him to Gunnison, Colorado, where he opened Tributary Coffee Roasters.

At Tributary Coffee Roasters, we're committed to sourcing high-quality, organic ingredients from local and regional producers to create delicious and creative breakfast and lunch fare, as well as mouth-watering baked goods. Our menu features a variety of options, including breakfast burritos, biscuit sandwiches, quiche, oat and chia porridge, and more. We also offer a selection of expertly crafted coffee and espresso drinks, including pour-overs, lattes, cappuccinos, and more.

In addition to our cafe, we also operate an online store where customers can purchase our house-roasted coffee beans and other merchandise. We're dedicated to building strong relationships with our customers and providing exceptional service, whether in-person or online.
