Our Passion for Coffee

At Redeye Coffee Roasters, our love for coffee knows no bounds. What started as a hobby in the comfort of our home has evolved into a mission to provide the best damn coffee out there. As proud parents of our artisan roastery and cafe, we pour our hearts and souls into every batch we roast. Each cup of coffee we serve is a testament to our unwavering dedication to quality, flavor, and the perfect brewing process.

The Human Connection Between Farmers and Roasters

At the heart of our exceptional specialty coffee is a strong connection to the people and places where our beans originate. Building positive relationships with farmers, millers, exporters, and importers is essential to delivering a top-notch cup of caffeinated goodness. The Art of Cupping

Slurping coffee samples may look and sound unusual, but it is a vital step in our quality control process. Our "cuppers" carefully evaluate each sample based on industry standards, just like sommeliers do with wine. By tasting coffees from various farms, we can identify the best beans, ensuring an unparalleled sensory experience.

Mastering the Roast

Each coffee origin demands its own unique roasting formula, a delicate balance of temperature and duration tailored to its specific qualities. Our roasters work tirelessly to perfect these formulas, meticulously crafting the perfect roast to bring out the best flavors in each bean. With a mix of skill, science, and artistry, our roasters create an exceptional coffee experience.

Meet Bob, Our Master Roaster

Bob's coffee journey began in 2006 when he tasted a washed Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. The vibrant and lively floral notes left a lasting impression on him, and he knew right then and there that he wanted to create coffees just like that Yirgacheffe. Over the years, Bob has roasted countless pallets of green coffee, traveled to six different coffee growing regions, met amazing people, and opened a thriving cafe by the ocean. His passion for coffee and commitment to quality drive him to seek out the next great washed Yirgacheffe and share it with our customers.
