Our journey began with Maurie Jacobs, who had a dream of owning his own retail store, and his wife Sylvia, who shared his passion for providing excellent customer service. With hard work and dedication, they opened their first store, Sterling Furniture, in Eugene, Oregon, which soon became a staple in the community.

As the business grew, so did the family's involvement. Maurie and Sylvia's daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Mike Schwartz, joined the business and played a significant role in expanding the company to its current six-store family. Today, we operate seven convenient locations throughout Oregon, offering a wide range of furniture, mattresses, and home decor from top brands like Ekornes, Stressless, A-America, and Sleep Chest.
