Our Story

The Braising Pan is a family-owned and operated restaurant located in the heart of West Bend, Wisconsin. Our story began over 150 years ago when the Klumb family brought their German culinary traditions to America. Today, our restaurant is still family-owned and operated, with husband-and-wife team, Heather Ford (nee Klumb) and Nick Ford, at the helm.
