Chef John's Philosophy

With over thirty years of experience in the culinary world, our founder and executive chef, Chef John, has dedicated his life to the art of cooking and guest services. From dishwasher to executive chef, Chef John has honed his skills in every aspect of the restaurant industry. His love for cooking and guest services shines through in every event he caters, as making people happy brings him a great sense of accomplishment.

The Food

At C.H.E.F.S. Catering Co., we have catered a wide variety of events, ranging from weddings and alumni reunions to community events, corporate lunches, and dinner parties. With our commitment to flexibility, we can customize any event to suit your needs, expectations, and budget. Whether you prefer a casual Carolina-style pork BBQ or a more lavish, formal meal featuring grilled beef tenderloin with a bearnaise aioli, foie gras, and caviar, we can prepare it for you. The Genesis of CHEFS

C.H.E.F.S. Catering Co. was born out of a passion for fine dining and the desire to bring exceptional culinary experiences to the Lexington community. Our founder, Chef John, discovered this passion early in life and was inspired to create a catering company that would allow him to share his love for cooking with others.

Beginning as the sous chef at the Willson-Walker House, a fine-dining restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, Chef John honed his skills and developed a reputation for exceptional food and service. In 2005, he founded C.H.E.F.S. Catering Co., fulfilling his dream of providing personalized culinary experiences for a wide range of events and occasions.

Over the years, C.H.E.F.S. Catering Co. has grown and evolved, expanding its menu offerings and services to meet the unique needs of each client. We have proudly received local and state recognition for our commitment to excellence and our unwavering dedication to providing unforgettable culinary experiences.
