At Hole in the Wall Barbecue, we're driven by a passion for serving the best slow-smoked barbecue and homemade side dishes in the region. Our journey began in 1992 when we moved back to Oregon, seeking authentic barbecue that we couldn't find in Eugene. This craving led us to establish our first restaurant in Eugene in 1993, which soon expanded to include a second location in Springfield. Today, we're known for our uncompromising service, fair prices, and an extensive menu that caters to every taste.
Our Beginnings
Our story starts with a simple yet profound craving for good barbecue. We searched far and wide in Eugene but couldn't find what we were looking for. This lack inspired us to create our own authentic barbecue experience. On August 2, 1993, Hole in the Wall Barbecue was born in Eugene, and our Springfield location soon followed. Over the years, we've remained committed to using only the finest meats, smoked low and slow over real hardwood for up to 18 hours, ensuring each bite is tender and full of flavor.
Our Locations
We have two locations, each offering a unique dining experience. Our original location in Eugene is renowned for its classic barbecue menu, while our Springfield location boasts a tap room with 20 handles of Oregon's finest craft beers and an additional menu featuring our Smokehouse Breakfast. Both locations are open for dine-in and takeout, catering to your every preference.
