We are committed to protecting Hawaii's future by recycling today.

Our Story

At Reynolds Recycling, we are dedicated to protecting Hawaii's future by recycling today. As a locally owned company, we have been serving Hawaii's people for almost 40 years, and we are committed to making recycling a way of life for Hawaii's residents. Our story began in 1980 when Reynolds Metals built a recycling center in Hawaii, and since then, we have been working tirelessly to provide a full range of recycling options to the community.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services to make recycling convenient and accessible to everyone. With 13 convenient locations on Oahu and Kauai, we are Hawaii's largest beverage container recycler. Our services include:

  • Recycling of aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and glass bottles
  • Scrap metal recycling
  • Hi-5 Program redemption
  • Fundraising opportunities for schools and non-profit organizations

Our redemption procedures are designed to be efficient and easy to follow, and we provide guidelines for counting and weighing recyclables. We also accept scrap metals, including copper, and have a scrap metal ownership notarization form available for download.

Our Commitment

Our commitment to protecting Hawaii's future is reflected in our company's mission. We believe that recycling is essential to preserving our environment and conserving natural resources. We are proud to have paid out over $245 million to Hawaii residents for their recyclables, of which over $3.5 million has gone directly to our schools to fund important programs and projects.
