Growing Wild Floral Co. is a family-owned and operated floral farm and design studio located in Delaplane, Virginia, just 60 minutes from Washington, DC. We're a mother-daughter duo, Barbara and Lindsey, who share a passion for sustainable and exceptional floral designs. With over 25 years of experience, we've had the pleasure of working with over 2500 couples to create unforgettable wedding experiences.

Our Story

It all started in 1996 when Barbara Von Elm founded Growing Wild with a simple yet innovative approach to wedding flowers. She would ride through fields of wild flowers on her horse, Cookie, picking flowers for weddings and placing them in baskets attached to the saddle. Whatever Cookie didn't eat was used for floral arrangements. Today, we've grown to become a sustainable floral farm, using traditional practices to grow a variety of flowers and botanicals on our 65-acre farm.
