Our Story

Ray Williamson Sr., a lifelong resident of Austin, Texas, founded the company in 1973 as a side business while holding down a full-time job. After serving in the military, Rayward Sr. focused on the tree care business full-time by 1980. His son, Rayward Jr., began working with him at the age of 8 and eventually became a full partner in 1999. Following his father's passing in 2017, Rayward Jr. is now the sole owner of Ray Williamson Tree Service.

Ray Williamson Jr., a Certified Arborist, is trained in the art and science of caring for trees. He has passed comprehensive examinations and continues his education to maintain his certification. This ensures that our customers receive the highest level of expertise and care for their trees.
