Academic Programs and Services
STCC offers a wide range of academic programs and services designed to help students succeed. Our credit degree and certificate programs are designed to prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities, as well as for immediate entry into the workforce. We also offer non-credit programs and workforce development training to help individuals enhance their skills and advance their careers.
Our academic programs include STEM Starter Academy, Early College, College Now, Dual Enrollment, Gateway to College, and Summer Youth Programs. We also offer a variety of support services, including academic advising, tutoring, career services, and counseling, to help students achieve their academic and career goals.
Campus Life
At STCC, we believe that college life extends beyond the classroom. Our campus is vibrant and diverse, with a range of extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations that cater to different interests and backgrounds. We also offer a variety of support services, including childcare, disability services, and wellness programs, to help students achieve a healthy work-life balance.
Community Engagement
As a community college, we are committed to engaging with our community and providing opportunities for economic growth and development. We partner with local businesses and organizations to provide workforce training and development programs, and we offer a range of community programs and services, including the Springfield Adult Learning Center (SALC) and the Workforce Development Center.

STCC has a rich history of providing quality education and training to students in the Springfield area. We are accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence.
