Welcome to Rock Island Medical Center, a Primary Care Medical facility specializing in Geriatric and Family Medicine. At Rock Island Medical Center, we pride ourselves on having a knowledgeable and trained staff who are committed to providing exceptional patient care. We understand the importance of creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients, and we strive to make each visit as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Our team is led by Dr. Wiqar U. Sheikh, a geriatrician with over 10 years of experience. Dr. Sheikh has seen firsthand the impact of a poor diet on his patients and is dedicated to helping them achieve better health through proper nutrition and lifestyle changes. Alongside Dr. Sheikh, our Office and Billing Manager, Asiya Sheikh, ensures that our patients receive the highest level of care and attention. Asiya works closely with her staff to ensure that all patients are treated with empathy and respect.

We also have Kacie Clarke, our Lead Medical Assistant, who is certified and received her degree from ATI Career Training Center. Kacie was born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida, and is dedicated to providing top-notch medical assistance to our patients.

Our Services

At Rock Island Medical Center, we offer a variety of services designed to meet the unique needs of each patient. Some of our services include:

  • Allergy Testing: This test is usually done to identify allergies to pollen, mold, pet dander, dust mites, and foods. If you are interested in our Allergy Testing Services, call our office at 954-721-8707 or contact us today.
  • TB Testing: The test is done in our office by putting a small amount of TB protein (antigens) under the top layer of skin on your inner forearm. Fill out our contact us form, and a member of our team will be happy to assist you!
  • Annual Physicals: Our physician considers it a preventive step and a way to catch a more serious condition before it begins to cause problems. Depending on a patient's personal health history, our physician may choose to focus on certain areas of a physical exam.
