Barrington Miles, CEO and Owner

Barrington Miles is the CEO and owner of Texas Professional Disc Jockey, a leading DJ company that specializes in providing premium DJ services for events and parties. DJ Miles was born and raised in Jamaica and came to the United States when he was only 17 years old. In 1990, Miles joined the United States Army as an Air Traffic Controller, where he traveled around the world during his eight years of service. During his time in the Army, he had the opportunity to DJ around the world at various events, which led to starting his DJ career.

Jamin Walters, Director of Operations and DJ

Jamin Walters is the son of a Sound Engineer, DJ, and Greensleeves reggae singer. Music has always been a big part of his life. The product of Jamaican parents, born and raised in England but now an Austin resident means Jamin has an extremely unique approach to music and mixes. As a completely open format, he can and will play any type of music and mix it together to keep everyone on the dance floor.

Melissa Minto, VP of Sales and Marketing

Melissa Minto is the VP of Sales and Marketing for Texas Pro DJ. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Melissa settled in Austin, Texas in May of 2015 after living in Atlanta, Georgia for almost 10 years. With over 15 years of experience in the private club industry, Melissa has planned and executed events for the likes of former US President George W. Bush, Jon Bon Jovi, Arthur Blank, Ryan Seacrest, and Tyler Perry, among others. Melissa is a proud "dog mom" to her 7-year-old black lab, Noodles, and enjoys running, bike riding, traveling, and drinking rose in her spare time.

Anthony Carter, Marketing Specialist and DJ

Anthony has been with Texas Pro DJ since inception. Since then, he has taken the industry by storm. His knowledge and passion for music, combined with his exceptional communication skills, make him an invaluable member of our team.
