Our Story

My journey as a cat groomer began in 2011, when I started volunteering at Seattle Persian & Himalayan Rescue. It was there that I discovered my passion for cat grooming and began honing my skills. In 2013, I was approached by Dr. Chahna Ekstrom, owner of At Home Vet, who offered me a position as her exclusive cat groomer at her cat-only boarding facility, Cozy Cat Boarding & Grooming. Over the next two years, I refined my craft, working alongside veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and cat boarding attendants who evaluated my work. In 2015, I purchased the cat grooming portion of the business and rebranded as Alex the Cat Groomer.
