HG (Higher Grounds) Coffee and Cafe is a single-shop, family-owned, and locally operated cafe located in the heart of Mesa, Arizona. Our cafe is a casual, industrial-chic venue that offers house-roasted coffee, pastries, and sandwiches at unbeatable prices. The idea behind HG Coffee and Cafe is to bring the average joe an amazing cup of joe, along with excellent breakfast and lunch options. The General Manager, Dianna Cameron, had a dream of opening a coffee shop since she was a little girl, working at her parent's sandwich shop. Today, the family works together to provide great fresh roasted coffee, breakfast, and lunch items to the community.

Our cafe is located at 354 N Country Club Drive, Mesa, AZ 85201, and is open from Tuesday to Friday from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The last food orders are taken 30 minutes prior to closing. We offer delivery services to businesses and residents within two miles through our online order system for a delivery fee. Delivery orders must be paid for in advance with a credit or debit card. We also offer delivery services through GrubHub, UberEats, DoorDash, and PostMates. Online orders can be delivered or shipped, along with coffee beans by the pound.

Our Menu

HG Coffee and Cafe offers fresh roasted coffee and hearty breakfast options, including muffins and healthy breakfast options. Starting at 11 am, we offer delicious lunch fare that changes daily. Our lunch menu includes sandwiches, salads, and soups made from scratch using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Our coffee is roasted in-house, ensuring that our customers get the freshest cup of coffee possible. We take pride in our coffee, using only the highest quality beans and brewing methods to create the perfect cup.

Our Apache Junction Location

HG Coffee and Cafe also has a location inside the Superstition Ranch Farmers Market in Apache Junction, AZ. This location is our roast room and coffee bar, serving drinks and small bakery items. Although this location does not offer hot food items or wifi, it is a great place to grab a cup of coffee, tea, or a pastry while shopping at the farmers market. Our Apache Junction location is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and is closed on Monday and Sunday.
