Our History

Our journey began with Brian St. John, the founder and owner of Legend Cycle, who started his restoration career at an early age. Brian's fascination with motorcycles grew, and he honed his skills by working at his father's Triumph Motorcycle Dealership. He later joined the U.S. Air Force, where he spent 10 years in Aircraft Structural Repair, perfecting his sheetmetal fabrication, repair, and painting skills on aircraft such as the KC-135A Cargo Tankers, B-52 Bombers, and B-2 Stealth Bombers.

After the Air Force, Brian worked for Pacific Fighters, a business that specialized in restoring WWII Fighter planes. This experience instilled in him a deep appreciation for classic British motorcycles. In 2008, Brian left the aircraft industry and started Classic American Restoration, offering skilled and professional restoration of classic American cars and trucks. However, his true passion for classic British motorcycles soon rekindled, and Legend Cycle was born.
