At New Life Discovery Schools, our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and learning environment for children. To achieve this, we utilize the Sylvia Chard, PhD Project Approach Theory paralleled with CLASS and The Creative Curriculum.
Our History
New Life Discovery Schools has been providing safe and reliable childcare services since 1986. We have a long history of providing quality care and education to children in our community. Our team of highly qualified and trained staff members are dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
Our Services
At New Life Discovery Schools, we offer a range of services to cater to the needs of children aged 12 months to 11 years. Our services include:
- Infant Program: Designed for children aged 12 months to 2 years, our infant program focuses on socialization, emotional intelligence, and gross motor skills.
- Toddler Program: For children aged 2 to 3 years, our toddler program emphasizes socialization, language development, and fine motor skills.
- Preschool Program: Our preschool program is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years and focuses on socialization, language development, and academic preparedness.
- School Age Program: For children aged 5 to 11 years, our school age program provides academic support, homework help, and recreational activities.
Our Facilities
We have four conveniently located facilities in Fresno, California:
- Shields Center: Our Shields Center is located at 4348 E. Shields Ave, Fresno, CA 93726. We offer care for children aged 2-5 years.
- Clovis Center: Our Clovis Center is located at 1675 Minnewawa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612. We offer care for children aged 12 months to 11 years.
- Figarden Center: Our Figarden Center is located at 4230 W. Figarden Dr, Fresno, CA 93722. We offer care for children aged 12 months to 11 years.
- Keats Center: Our Keats Center is located at 420 E. Keats Ave, Fresno, CA 93710. We offer care for children aged 12 months to 11 years.
Transportation
We offer transportation services to and from local elementary schools. Our buses/vans are equipped with safety features and are driven by experienced and qualified drivers. We transport children to a range of elementary schools, including Cole, Tarpey, Sierra Vista, Weldon, Clovis Elementary, and Gettysburg Morning School.
Security
At New Life Discovery Schools, we take the safety and security of our children seriously. Our facilities are equipped with CCTV cameras, and our staff members undergo thorough background checks. We also have a strict protocol for admitting and discharging children.
